Disgusted of Llandrindod Wells

Firstly, much thanks to those of you who voted Disgusted of Llandrindod Wells into number 51 in Total Politics Top 60 blogs in Wales. Disgusted is very proud in particular to have come out higher than Leighton Andrews AM – previously chief cock of the online roost.

The top ten is interesting. Leaving aside Cynical Dragon’s denial of Plaid loyalties, seven of them are Plaid bloggers. One of them – Cambria Politico – is chiefly the preserve of Clive Betts and could easily read as a Plaid-sympathising blog. See, this, for example.

While the Welsh blogosphere disppears up its own backside it’s a good time to reflect on more important results that are out today. Young ‘uns who took their A-Levels this year find out today which universities they didn’t get into.

Disgusted thinks that covering A-Level results day is getting easier every year. Journalists just need to turn up, remember to put their name on the byline and dash off some rubbish about the ‘dumbing down’ of society. Touche.
